Aerosmith Concert - Instagram Posts

So, you all probably know that I did go to my very first Aerosmith concert (and my very first concert) the other day, and it was PERFECT. Aerosmith has been my favorite band for almost 10 years now, (and yes, I'm only 16), and I've had a HUGE crush (lol crush.. more like obsession) on Steven Tyler for a long time as well. Okay, so Cheap Trick opened up for Aerosmith, and they're awesome as well, and they played really good! But after they were setting up for Aerosmith to play, I was literally getting so nervous. I am crazy in love with Aerosmith, I'm not kidding. Even thinking about going to their concert, I start to cry. That's something else though, if I get too sad, or too happy/excited about something, I automatically cry. Haha! But anyways, the lights finally went dark, and I started hearing the drums play, and my heart was beating so fast. Then, when I saw Steven Tyler and Joe Perry coming out from under the stage, I FLIPPED! I started jumping, screaming at the top of my lungs, and, of course, crying. My first thought when I saw Steven was, "OH MY GOD HE'S REAL!" I sound so silly, I know, but just seeing this rock star that I've been basically in love with for so long in person was shocking. So unreal. It has literally been my dream for SO LONG to see Aerosmith, most importantly Steven Tyler, so yes, I flipped out. They played a lot of my favorites, and I do wish they would've played more of their old songs, but I'm definitely not complaining. They did play my favorite song, Livin' On The Edge, and it gave me chills and I was crying and staring at Steven and it was perfect. And when they played Dream On, oh lord it was beautiful. It was the greatest night of my life! But, now I've been really bummed out these past two days, because it's all over. It seemed so unreal when I was there, I felt like I was just watching a movie or something. So, I really need to go again! But this fall, they will be announcing a second leg of their tour, and next time it is guessed that they will probably be coming to Florida. So, if they do, I will be getting Meet and Greet tickets. I almost did this time, but they are around $1500 a ticket to meet Steven & Joe and get really close seats, and so my mom told me not to, unless they come to Florida. So.. I am just waiting until then now!

Oh! But I don't have ANY good camera pictures! I couldn't bring my DSLR, and so I brought my point and shoot camera, and I remembered to charge the batteries and everything, but when we actually got to the arena, I put in the batteries, and when I turned on the camera it turned off and said "Please charge the batteries." So I don't know what happened with that, but I tried to snap a few with my phone, and they suck, but its okay. There was a lady who sat next to us at the concert, and she literally ran up to the stage and took loads of really great photos, and she gave me her e-mail and told me that I could e-mail her and she would send me the photos. So I am so thankful for that! I really want some good photos so I can remember the concert, and how good Steven looked! ;D But anyways, here are my instagram photos from the concert, if you all don't follow me on Instagram!

1. Me, before the concert!
2. Waiting outside Philips Arena, about to walk in.
3. The stage, I thought I would snap a picture of it.
4. Me, trying to stay cool for a picture, but I was really freaking out. Lol!
5. My best picture from the concert, which is sad. But you can still tell it's Steven Tyler, so that's why I uploaded it.
6. Me, after the concert, in my awesome new Aerosmith shirt. I am going to wear this shirt EVERYWHERE. I now own four Aerosmith shirts! :)

In the Flowers

I found this lovely vintage dress at a thrift shop the other day, and I didn't notice it until I got home, but it does have a few holes in it, and it looks like it was once a floor-length dress but someone made it shorter. But it was only $5, and that collar is perfect, so I had to get it! I really wanted to wear it with tights, but I figured that didn't look very summer-y, and it is quite hot outside, so that will just have to wait until fall/winter.

Thanks for reading! Hope you have a lovely day! xx

Road Trip

Credits (1,2,3 (Found on Tumblr, don't know the source),4,5 (Found of Tumblr, don't know the source)

The other day my mom and I were in the car listening to "Sweet Virginia" by The Rolling Stones, and it make me think about just going on a nice, long road trip out to the country. I love living in the city, but it would be nice just to get away for a little bit. I guess I will be going on a road trip in eight days from now, Atlanta is 6 hours away, and that is definitely long enough to be a road trip to me!

Dazed and Confused

Hello, everyone! Today was another hot, miserable, humid day. It was definitely not a lovely day, and I did not have a lovely time taking photos in the park. I wasn't out long, I only took about 50 photos compared to my usual 200 (I have to make sure I have at least a few good ones, lol) and I only (kind-of) liked these three. I have been having a self-concious "I hate my body" day today, especially after I looked at these photos. I thinks its those shorts, high-waisted shorts don't look the best on me, because I am rather short (5'1''-ish) and I'm not extremely skinny, either. But I do like them, so I'm not gonna stop wearing them. Oh, and I LOVE my Led Zeppelin shirt I thrifted the other day. It's no vintage shirt, but I've been wanting to find that perfect Led Zeppelin shirt recently, and this is definitely the one!

But I'm really sleepy, and I need to do a lot of classwork so I think I'll go now. Thanks for reading! xx

(PS - I won't be posting as frequently for the next week, as I will be quite busy! But then after that I will be back to posting daily, I promise!)

Not in the Mood..

I am so sorry I have not posted for a few days.. I am just not in the mood. At all. Firstly, I went to my friend's house Thursday, and I stayed 'til Saturday, and we went to the beach, and I have gotten the worst sunburn of my life. Actually, I've never really been "sunburnt". But oh lord, it actually hurts to wear clothes. That's one reason why I haven't been wanting to make an outfit post, because I have been trying to wear as least as possible, and the burn is worst on my stomach and thighs, so I have been lounging around the house in extremely loose fitting shorts and huge t-shirts. But besides that, I have just felt so.. blah. I have been really un-inspired, and I know I probably shouldn't have to feel "inspired" to go out an take a photo of my outfit, but I do. It really helps. I've just felt so tired these past few days. I haven't been doing anything, nor do I feel like it. Actually, to be honest, I went out today to take photos. I rode my bicycle all the way to the park, in a dress, and I got there and set up my tripod and camera, and then I realized I had forgotten my memory card! So I just rode my bicycle back home, I guess I'll just try again tomorrow.

So I'm really sorry, truly I am, and I will be posting regularly again by tomorrow, or the next day. But I will also be gone for three days next week also, I'm going to Atlanta for an Aerosmith concert.

Hope you all have a lovely week! xx

Live In Dreams

The other day when I went thrifting, I happened to come across this little vintage Guess bag! I really like the colour and size, and even though it is a bit "beat up" and worn-looking, I had to get it. This may sound weird, but I actually like that it looks older, I think that's kind-of neat! And I've had this romper for a while, but I actually found it at someone's "yard sale" kind-of thing in a parking lot, for only $2. I thought the print was very pretty, and even though it is a little big on me, I really like it anyways. It actually makes me think/feel like I'm going on a safari or something when I wear it, haha! I don't really know why, either. But I don't wear it often, and I think I need to start wearing it more!

Thanks for reading xx

Daydream

Today has been a lovely Monday! I've spent most of my day outside! I took photos in the park, rode my bike, and I ate lunch outside with my cats (lol) and I even read outside for a bit. I am really liking this outfit, and it is so simple, but so nice in my opinion. I've been looking for a nice short-sleeved t-shirt for a while, and I actually found this one at a thrift shop yesterday, along with a lot of other things! I'll soon be making a short post of thrifted finds from yesterday, so be watching out for that! :)

Hope you all have had a lovely Monday!

Summer Holiday

I personally loved my outfit today! It was very hot outside, and this outfit it so airy and comfortable, so it wasn't all that bad! I was also having a bit of a bad hair day, so I just put it in a pony-tail! I actually don't think it looks too bad, though. Tomorrow, I'm going thrifting, so hopefully I'll have lots of new clothes to show you all!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend so far! xx

Golden Haze

This would be me, just messing around!

I noticed someone was staring at me strangely while I was being silly, and it actually made me laugh!

Hello, lovely readers! Today I thought I would wear those olive green shorts, which I haven't worn in forever! I got them about a year ago, and they were loose when I got them, but since then I have lost a bit of weight and now they are extremely baggy! I don't think it is too bad, I'll still wear them, but now they remind me of boy shorts!

Lately, though, I've been really wanting a pair of dungarees, so maybe tomorrow I'll go looking around in some thrift shops for a nice pair. I am definitely looking forward to the weekend, anyways. :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! xx

70's inspiration

A few photos that make me think of my favorite decade, the 1970's. In my opinion, everything was perfect in the 70's, the music, movies, fashion, and everything else. I would love to just travel back in time, and live my teenage years in the 70's. I can just imagine it now, how wonderful it would be, seeing my favorite bands like Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, & Led Zeppelin all live in the 70's. But, unfortunately this will never happen (except I will be seeing Aerosmith on July 26th, and that is just as good in my opinion!) But even though the 1970's is my favorite decade, and it inspires me the most, it may not seem like it through my style. But the truth is, all decades inspire me when it comes to that.. I can't just pick one!

Green Aisles

Today was such a warm, sunny day, so I got on my bicycle and spent my day in the park. I noticed that the grass has grown really tall, so I just layed in it and read Lolita for a little while. I took some photos also, obviously. :)

Hope you all have had a lovely day today! xx
