Lace Trapeze

Wearing: Lashes of London dress, Thrifted blazer, Target heels, F21 hat, Target tote.
Jewelry: F21 earrings & bracelet, Target watch.

Hello lovelies! Today I wore to this outfit to school, and I'll admit I was just too excited about it. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful trapeze dress from Lashes of London when I received it in the mail the other day, and I just knew how I would style it for school. At times throughout the day I was regretting the heels a bit, since I did have to run errands which required walking all around the school for an hour and a half, but besides that, I was so in love with my outfit! But how could I not be? Do you see that collar on that dress?! I'm such a sucker for an adorable collar, and this one is so huge, and with the long tie bow, ugh too perfect. It's also not really like any other dress I own at all, which is great! I just love little pieces like this that can add something different to your wardrobe- sometimes I feel that I get in the habit of buying too many similar things, so throwing in something different to style is always fun!

Summer Stripes

Wearing: Thrifted hat, Modcloth (Closet)dress, thrifted heels.

The other day I was lucky enough to score this lovely little dress from Modcloth (the brand is Closet) for only around $20 during their 70% off sale! I know summer's almost over and this dress screams summer, but I couldn't pass it up! I love any dress with a fitted top and a fuller skirt, and this one was so perfect! I just cannot get over how lovely it is...too bad I can't wear it for much longer! But, next summer, this will be my favorite summer dress and I will wear it everyday, I already know! Haha!

PS- While I bought the dress from Modcloth, I also did a little searching around on other sites for it, and you can also get it here!

Transitioning Into Fall ♥

IMG_2893blog copy
Wearing: Forever 21 hat, H&M dress, Thrifted heels.
Jewelry: Vintage Gucci watch, (F21 & DIY) Assorted bracelets, Vintage necklace.

Today I decided to wear my favorite dress as of right now to school, and while I could've just worn it with some sandals, I decided to make it look more like a fall outfit with a pair of black pantyhose and red heels! As August is coming to and end, I'm getting more and more anxious to say so long my summer wardrobe, and say hello to my sweaters and tights! So for these last 11 days of this month, I'm slowly adding in more fall clothes and accessories, and taking out the summer ones. I've also brought out my favorite pumpkin spice candle...but I'm still gonna wait a little while before I start burning it for the fall season. Oh, and Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes come back in September! Isn't that enough reason to wish it was fall? I think so!

Hope you're all having a lovely week so far! xx

Red, White and Gingham

Wearing: Thrifted denim shirt, Thrifted gingham dress, Thrifted red heels, Thrifted bag, Thrifted head scarf

Every time I go thrifting, it always seems that I never have any luck! I always expect coming home with bags loaded with thrifted goods, but I never really do, so that makes me feel like I never have any success on my thrifting trips. But, as I listed where I got everything worn in this outfit, I couldn't help but notice this whole outfit was put together with some of my thrifted finds! So, I guess even though I don't come home with many finds from one trip, it all builds up over time, and I eventually become able to put together full looks with my little thrifted treasures, haha! This is definitely one of my favorite summer outfits also, and the fact that I thrifted all of it feels great! Ah! Anyways, I go back to school tomorrow, which is weird, because it is my senior year. So that means my last first day of school ever (not counting college), so hopefully this first day will be good! Hope you all have a great week! ♥

Polka Dots and Pearls

Wearing: Forever 21 cardigan, Thrifted dress, Thrifted bag

Since school for me starts in two days, I'm enjoying what feels like my last few days of summer in my most summer-y clothes and accessories, and my outfit today was just that. A perfect pairing of my most summery things, like my red polka dot maxi, white cut-out oxfords, and my darling little straw bag. I'll miss days like day where I do nothing but walk around and plan the day as I go, but I'm in a way just ready to start this year of school and start moving towards the fall and winter months!

Favorite at the Moment: Black + White Stripes!

First Row: Dress - UO / Jeans - c/o Boohoo
Second Row: Dress - c/o Papaya Clothing , Pinafore - c/o Boohoo

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of black and white, but lately I've really discovered my love for anything black and white striped. Whether its jeans, shirts, maxis or pinafore dresses, it's all so cute and it's also so classic and versatile, which is definitely a plus in my wardrobe. I also love adding in red to my striped looks. While red is my favorite color, it also brings color to the outfit and makes it stand out!

I was feeling a bit bad about the stripe overload on my blog, but I just can't help it! They're just so cute, and I just keep buying more and more striped clothes, so I'm afraid this isn't the end of my little obsession!

Pinafore Love ♥

Wearing: Thrifted Shirt, Denim Pinafore c/o Choies, Thrifted Oxfords, Thrifted bag, Target Watch, Vintage Necklace

Today was more of a relaxed day, but this evening I grabbed some yummy fro-yo and walked around a park with my best friend, and what was even better was right before I got ready, I received this lovely little denim pinafore from Choies, so I knew exactly what to wear! I am so obsessed with pinafores and this one was not only cute and summery, but it also helped make dressing cute possible in this Florida heat! I also love how this pinafore will be great to wear all year long... that definitely makes it so perfect for back to school, and if you're like me, it will be especially perfect for those school days when you're completely confused on what to wear!

Something's Haunting You

Wearing: Forever 21 hat, dress c/o Motel Rocks, Target oxford booties, Target watch, Vintage necklace

Today was yet another humid, rainy day here in Jacksonville, so I figured that this lovely little smock dress from Motel Rocks would be perfect to wear, and it definitely was! Over the course of the day it became a bit wrinkled which may be very obvious in the photos, but that's not so bad. I wanted a bit of color so I paired it with my magenta tights and I love the colors together so much. I'm going to really need more smock dresses, they're so airy, comfortable and cute, which is perfect for Florida weather!

Hope you all are having a lovely Friday!

Back To School Wishlist!

Back to school

With only one more full week of summer left, I'm going ahead and getting my school shopping done in preparation for the start of my senior year of high school. When I think of school supplies and clothes, I'm very inspired by neutral colors and very organized workspaces, so this year I'm going to make sure my school life is filled with that. I love buying the clean supplies and I love looking at my empty planner and binders that have no work in them yet, just plain sheets of paper. There's that part of me that can't wait to write in everything and break it all in, but in reality I like just looking at the clean neat supplies because there is no work or stress involved in that, haha! I've also decided to get a leather tote this year, as my backpack that I so dearly love just takes such a long time to buckle and button, and unfortunately it also likes to somehow manage to ride up my dresses as I walk, which is so annoying. So I thought with a simple black tote, like the one above from Persun Mall! I can carry it all year long while I'm at school, and I can use it for books and as a purse! But anyways, as much as I'm not looking forward to school to start, I'm sure it will end up being very fun since it is my senior year, and because now the hottest part of summer is out of the way, and my favorite season will be here soon! :)

I Could've Been Your Girl

Wearing: thrifted hat; dress c/o PB&J Boutique; thrifted heels; thrifted vintage Dooney & Bourke bag

Hi there! Today I just did a bit of roaming around town, so I decided to wear this beautiful little dress that the lovely folks over at PB&J Boutique gifted to me, and I think I have definitely found my perfect dress! Everything is perfect about this dress, especially the little details. The bib look, the buttons, the little bird print and lace detailing, and of course the little bows on the sleeves. I feel so girly and wonderful in this dress, and it fits my style perfectly. I'm always trying to find that perfect casual dress that is very vintage-inspired but still looks modern, and this dress fits that description so well. I hope I'm not overwhelming you all with the plenty of good things I have to say about this dress...but I really could just go on forever about it!

Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far!

Urban Twilight

Wearing: Hat - F21, Top - c/o Lashes of London, Dress - F21, Heels - c/o Boohoo

Hello! It feels a bit weird making this post...it's been raining so much lately so I've haven't really been able to take photos of my outfits! But lately I have really been on this layering thing, and I've been layering so many crop tops over my dresses, especially this black dress, because I've recently realized that I don't own a black skirt that's a shorter length, and I've been really wanting one! Seems like an easy thing to go out and buy, but it's really not for someone as picky as me, haha! I paired my new lovely little crop top from Lashes of London with my black dress from F21, and I have to say that I am so in love with this crop top! The floral details are definitely unique and the colors are perfect, and the sleeves are scalloped! How adorable is that? Anyways, I've been wearing this top everywhere with my shorts and of course over this dress. It's so summery and the color combo is my favorite!
