My Top 5 Drugstore Beauty Favorites!

Today I've decided to do something a little different, make a video! I kind of had a specific reason which I've explained in it, but I kind of want to start making videos and posting them to YouTube and of course here on A Walk in the Park. So I would love if you all watched my video, and tell me what you think! If you like it and have any suggestions on more videos I should make, let me know!

Here are the links to my top 5 drugstore beauty products that I mentioned in my video:

1. Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Polish
2. Rimmel Longdon Kate Lipstick
3. Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara
4. Maybelline Fit Me! Foundation
5. St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

Thanks for reading + watching, hope you all are having a lovely week so far! xx

  1. I think you did a great job on your first video! I've been meaning to add videos to my blog for a while now and I think this summer is the perfect time to start.

  2. It's always so weird hearing bloggers speak for the first time--you get this idea in your head about what they might sound like and then you get blown away when you hear what it actually is! I think the only thing missing in this video is soft background music to break up the space. Often beauty vloggers don't have to talk all the time and they need something to fill the silence--it's tricky trying to hold someone's attention with ten solid minutes of talking and the mind wanders when there's no breaks.

I have the St Ives apricot scrub! It's made with crushed up apricot pits, I think? I heard somewhere that it's actually bad for your skin because it causes micro-tears on your face but I still use it.. oops.
