Tres Chic

Wearing: Poppy Lux (Sugarhill Boutique) (c/o) pullover graphic top, Sugarhill Boutique (c/o) faux leather skirt, Thrifted heels, Vintage Louis Vuitton bag, Michael Kors watch.
I love anything French and French-inspired, so of course I instantly fell in love with this "Tres Chic" graphic pullover sweater top from Poppy Lux! I love how simple and versatile this little pullover is with the off-white / black coloring and striped detailing on the sleeves, it's honestly the perfect top for any day, whether it be a lazy jeans/leggings day, or if you want to dress it up a bit, like I did today! I decided to add a bit of edge in a girly way by pairing it with this faux leather skater skirt from Sugarhill Boutique. The faux leather makes it look a bit edgy, but the super cute bow detail on the front and it's high-waisted fit-and-flare style keeps it looking very girly! Of course, to accessories the outfit I carried my vintage Louis Vuitton, and I wore my favorite little pair of bright red kitten heels with a red lip to match! You can find these two cute pieces on Sugarhill Boutique's website, and you'll also see many more adorable must-have clothes while you're there! :)

Daytime Sunflowers

Wearing: Wal-G sunflower dress, Target tights, Thrifted heels, Banggood envelope clutch, ZeroUV sunglasses.

I love the challenge of taking a summer print and trying to make it look suitable for fall. This Wal-G sunflower print dress is so adorable with it's shift style and white collar. It wasn't too cold today so I just wore some colorful tights and these cute heels I thrifted, but I could easily throw on a blazer or coat if it were. This outfit was overall pretty simple, but can easily be dressed up a bit more with some accessories!

Every Other Freckle

Wearing: Kohl's plaid tunic, Others Follow black knit pullover, Forever 21 boyfriend-fit khaki trousers, Steve Madden booties, Vintage Etienne Aigner bag, Michael Kors watch, Forever 21 hat.

This fall, I have been stocking up on the basic yet classic pieces that I didn't own beforehand, like this simple black knit pullover from Others Follow. I love sweaters and pullovers like this one because they're so cute and perfect for layering, and that's why this one has been my favorite lately! The back of it is also more of an open-knit look, so you can see a good bit of my plaid Kohl's tunic underneath. Sometimes I have the problem of layering a sweater over a shirt but for some reason not being able to see the top underneath, either because it's too short or the sweater over top is weirdly cut or something like that, but this sweater is great for layering over a button-up top or any top with a good collar to it! I was a little hesitant on this outfit because it's definitely pretty boy-ish and a bit out of my comfort zone as far as outfits go, but I felt like a quite stylish boy so I wore it! I made sure I gave it a few key feminine touches though, like the heeled booties, the bag, and the bold earrings. I got plenty of compliments from this one though, so in my book it was yet another successful outfit!

Wearing: White Plum sweater, Kohl's skirt, Vienne Milano thigh high hose, Vintage Gucci bag, Elise M Collection necklace, Target oxford heels.
I've been wanting a boat neck styled top of some sort for quite some time now, and I never saw one I really was in love with until I laid eyes on this beautiful sweater top from White Plum! The black and teal coloring is cute, vintage-inspired, and can be paired with just about anything, which is why I love it so much! On this cooler day I paired it with a skater skirt and pantyhose, both with black tones going on for an all-black look with a little detail. I almost didn't carry my Gucci because of the brown leather on it, but in my opinion the bag is such a classic it doesn't matter what you pair it with, and truthfully it's the only bag I've been wanting to carry lately, so I wanted it to be in my photos with me as well! I kept my jewelry simple, and instead of wearing my "Carly" necklace I wore this lovely new necklace from Elise M Collection.

Day to Night: Blue Nina Heels

I've recently gotten the wonderful opportunity to design my own heels on Nina Shoe's website, and I went for this bright blue color in the Dyo Paladin style heel! They've got so many styles and colors to choose from, and no matter how you customize your heel, you'll receive a super comfy and cute pair of heels in the mail! I'm so happy with my pair, and I went with the bright blue because I've been wanting bright blue heels ever since I saw Carrie Bradshaw's Manolo's in the SATC movie! I really loved this style also because it has the shape of a classic pointed toe heel, but with the super cute bow detail! Here's how I styled my heels from day to night:

--- DAYTIME ---

Wearing: Quiz "Bardot" dress, Mara Vintage Shop navy quilted bag, Nina heels (design your own pair here!)

For my daytime look, I paired my Nina heels with a lovely little blue and white floral dress from Quiz. I know fall is here now and this isn't a very "fall" outfit, but it looked so cute together that I just couldn't resist wearing it! I feel like this dress and these heels were just meant for each other! I also feel like this outfit can easily be a nighttime look during the summer as well, especially with this navy quilted bag that I got from Mara Vintage Shop in my city. Overall a simple pairing, but I love all of the beautiful shades of blue!

Wearing: LookBookStore blazer dress, Nina heels (design your own pair here!), Banggood envelope clutch, ZeroUV sunglasses, Michael Kors watch.

For my nighttime look I paired my Nina heels with my black and white blazer dress from LookBookStore and my envelope clutch so keep a very modern look going with a pop of color in my heels. I wore more modern accessories as well, and I'd like to talk about how I scored the Michael Kors watch I've been wanting for forever at TJ Maxx for $120! I never actually bought Michael Kors watch because I will admit I tried not to spend $300 on a watch that I knew I could live without and just settled for a $20 Target watch, but that one broke, and this one was under half off it's original price so yes I had to get it! Anyways, I really loved this whole outfit together and it was my favorite look out of the two. I am so obsessed with this dress as well because I can wear it as either a dress or a jacket...and it has pockets so it's an all around win. It's also very unique, and adds something a little different to my closet!

Romantic Reds

Wearing: Others follow dress, Elise M Collection belt, Vintage Stuart Weitzman patent oxblood heels, Vintage Gucci bag.

Fall weather has been showing up a tad bit here, and now that my most recent second job is in such a lovely area of town, I enjoy dressing up and going to work every day, and then afterwards taking my photos right outside along either this brick wall or other different colored walls, or in that little alley that's in between two shops in the area. Today I wore some of my newest vintage buys, and kept a lovely red theme going with my outfit, as red is my favorite color! I scored these little Stuart Weitzman oxblood loafer heels in a thrift shop about a month ago for only $4, and I've already decided they are going to be my favorite shoes this season! They are in perfect condition with no wear on them, and they are the most beautiful oxblood color in a loafer style...all of my fall favorites in one shoe! Not to mention they are Stuart Weitzman, who is such a fantastic designer with so many nice (but expensive!) shoes. With these I wore my new red dress from Others Follow, which I love so dearly because oddly enough, I don't even own a red dress! I'm not sure how, but I just don't, and this one is made of a comfy thick material and it's deep red color is perfect for fall. For my accessories I carried my new vintage Gucci that I bought off of eBay that I've been wanting ever since I was little when my mom used to describe the same exact bag she had but donated, and a cute little adjustable gray snakeskin print belt from Elise M Collection. My outfit felt perfect for the cooler weather we've been having lately!

October Inspiration ♥

Another hectic month of work and now school is past, and I feel like I've barely been able to blog! I'm excited for this month, and as the days go by I am getting better with my time management, so I'm making any promises or anything, but I'm really trying to plan out my month with my blog as a main priority as much as possible. Yeah it could seem silly to want to keep up with my blog when I could be working more with the time that goes into this, but truth is I just love blogging and I don't care if I don't make money off of it, I get awesome opportunities from it and I just love sharing my outfits with you all! But anyways, this month I'm looking forward to lots of pretty fall colors, layering, and cozy days in coffee shops. I know it sounds cliche, but it really is the truth. I'm already layering and its still 80 degrees out...but that's actually cooler weather for Florida so it's not as weird as it may seem, haha! Looking forward to this lovely month and hopefully keeping up with my posts more!
