Stylishly #GearUpForCollege With Office Depot!

This post is sponsored by Office Depot, Inc. and Her Campus Media. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make A Walk in the Park possible!

School is finally back in session for so many students right now including myself! Classes can be such a bore sometimes, but I have always found that when I have cute supplies for class, the long lectures aren't as bad because I'm taking my notes in style! This fall I headed over to Office Depot and OfficeMax to find fashionable school supplies to perfectly fit my style!

Office Depot and OfficeMax have the styles that both college and grade school students alike will want at prices they'll love! No matter if you're looking for backpacks, notepads, planners, or anything else, Office Depot and OfficeMax has so many options to choose from to fit everyone's style! For my school shopping, I went in and found these beautiful supplies from the Divoga Gold Struck collection. I am a big fan of the pops of gold mixed with black, white, and aqua, along with prints that are both stylish and tasteful. My eye is instantly drawn to these lovely supplies, so that will be the extra motivation I need this semester to crack open the books and get to studying!

If you're not a fan of gold, that's no problem, because Divoga also has another collection of supplies that are filled with fun pinks, blues, and cute floral and striped prints! All of these supplies are extremely affordable too, and if you want to check out the full range of supplies Office Depot and OfficeMax offer, you can check them out at your local Office Depot and OfficeMax or take a look over at their website!

I hope you all have a wonderful fall semester filled with many A's and not too many research papers to write! :)

#OOTD - A Modern Classic

I've been all about the big, beautiful skirts and dresses lately, most of which have been coming from Chicwish, like this one! This gorgeous waterfall skirt has a soft floral print on it which is truly unique and almost reminds me of a marble look. I paired this skirt with a black mock neck crop top, and had a little bit of fun with the rest of the outfit by putting on my bright pink Forever Unique heels and carrying along my vintage Louis Vuitton.

Wearing: Chicwish skirt, Forever Unique heels, Vintage Louis Vuitton bag, Aeropostale crop top.

#OOTD - California Dreamin'

This outfit makes me want to jump into a raggedy ol' Volkswagen van with scarves hanging from the rear view mirror and head off into the mountains while listening to the Mamas and the Papas. Yes, all my outfits make me "feel" a certain (very-detailed) way such as this. I'm just mad about all of the 70s-inspired details in this outfit. It looks well-layered with this lace-up beaded top from PB&J Boutique top, all while still being a summer friendly transitional outfit as we head into fall.

Wearing: PB&J beaded top, Boohoo suedette skirt, Call It Spring clog sandals, T-Shirt & Jeans bag, Elise M Collection necklace + ring, Forever 21 hat, ZeroUV sunglasses.

I'm Selling Some Clothes On Depop - Shop My Closet @carlymaddox!

Hey everyone! I'm sure most of you have heard of the new app Depop, and if not, let me tell you about it! It's an Instagram-style platform where you can sell your clothes and buy clothes from other users! It's a bit different than most other sites/apps where you can sell new and used clothing, because on Depop, good and artistic photographs are key to selling your stuff! I know this may sound like a sponsored post or something, but it's not, I just really love this new app! It's much easier than eBay which can be a lengthy process for me. It only takes about 5 minutes to photograph and sell an item!

I just wanted to let you all know that I'm selling some things from my closet on Depop! You all should go take a look, you may see some of your favorite pieces from my blog! I'm selling my clothes, shoes, and accessories all at low prices also. This stuff has to GO in order for me to make room for fall/winter clothes! I've got 22 items up right now and I'm adding more daily! Here's a look at some of the items I'm selling:

Show Off Your #IndependentU With U by Kotex!

This post was sponsored by through their partnership with Acorn Influence. While I was compensated by Acorn Influence to write a post about U by Kotex, all opinions are my own.

As I begin to approach my 20th birthday, I'm beginning to realize that I'm taking on more adult responsibilities, and am learning to work on a specific schedule in order to balance work, school, and free time, whether that be hanging out with my gals, hittin' the gym, or typing away here on my blog. My new-found confidence is really beginning to shine through, and I'm finally becoming the independent woman I've always dreamed of being when I was just a young girl! One thing that allows me to be confident through the hectic lifestyle of freelance working and balancing out the rest of my life is U by Kotex and their colorful line of products!

#IndependentU

Phone? Check. Keys? Check. TRAVELpak? Check! When I'm heading out the door to go hang out with my girls or to attend any event in my city, I make sure my bag has all the essentials I'll need. I recently picked up the U by Kotex bonus pack from Walmart, which comes with a normal box of U by Kotex products with a tiny Travelpak attached to the top! This little travelpak is perfect for on-to-go carrying, because it's much better to have everything you need in a compact little box rather than have tampons, pads, liners, and whatever else strewn out all in your bags, and maybe even your car, too.

Fall classes are about to be back in session, and while us ladies are doing our back to school shopping, we can't forget to pick up feminine products as well! I just love how colorful the U by Kotex line is, the colors and prints make being on your period a lot more pleasant and a lot less dreadful!

I don't know about you all, but when I'm at the gym, I prefer not to be lugging a bunch of stuff around. I just like to go in, get my workout on, and leave, without the hassle of carrying big gym bags and leaving my stuff in a locker. A lot of workout leggings and even sports bras have little pockets now, so I love the U by Kotex click tampons with the compact applicators to just store perfectly in the pockets of my pants! That way I can have a stress-free workout sesh, the way exercising should be!

I have found a great way to incorporate all of the U by Kotex products into my everyday life, so that when my schedule gets busy I can just remain carefree and confident and not have to worry about mother nature getting in the way. I've got everything I need when I need it, and I can carry on with my adventurous life!

Back To School in Style With Boohoo!

Look 1 - Transitionally Chic

Take this versatile Boohoo chambray dress with you all through the fall transitional period and well into fall itself. Wear it with lace-up sandals while the weather is still hot, then as the days get cooler, throw a chunky sweater on with your favorite booties and head to class. Either way, this dress is one of those effortlessly chic pieces that you can wear all year 'round.

Wearing: Boohoo dress, XOXO handbag, AMI Clubwear booties, Elise M Collection necklace + ring, Forever 21 hat (old).

Look 2 - Fun + Feminine

Going back to school doesn't always have to mean opting for boring jeans and a t-shirt everyday. Have some fun with your wardrobe and still stay comfy for school by getting a few feminine frocks like this Boohoo floral sleeveless trapeze dress. Another great transitional piece, this dress can look fabulous with flats while it's warmer out and colored tights when fall officially arrives!

Wearing: Boohoo dress, T-Shirt & Jeans clutch, Alterre heels.

Look 3 - Boho Babe

Incorporate a little bit of rock 'n' roll and a whole lot of '70s vibes into your back to school look this season with a suedette skirt! This skirt from Boohoo is versatile and looks amazing paired so many different ways, which is perfect for when you don't know what to wear to class! For this look I paired my suedette skirt with another Boohoo piece, a lace-up bell sleeve top, that can also be worn with everything from skirts to denim!
