Free-Spirited Spring

Carly's wearing: Coral dress c/o Others Follow, Floral kimono c/o 9th and Elm (old, similar), Love Culture espadrilles.
Brittany's wearing: Aeropostale dress (old, similar), Forever 21 hat (old, similar), Marshall's sandals (similar), Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.

Spring is already here in Florida, and Spring weather anywhere else is Summer weather here, so it's basically summer now! I'm so ready to get out and explore new places with one of my closest friends, Brittany, by my side! I always say that I want to look like a boho, free-spirited goddess around this time every year, and this summer is no different. Of course I always put my own little spin on what I'm wearing, and I never stick to one look, but I'm going to make sure all of my outfits look festival-ready just how I want them to this season!

Come on Down To Florida

Wearing: Dress c/o Cindy + Johnny, Forever 21 necklace + sandals, Zero UV sunglasses, Walmart hat.

I am so obsessed with adding a big floppy hat to my outfits, and the same has applied to this lovely faux leather and floral dress from Cindy + Johnny! It's a dark toned dress that can easily be fitting for fall and winter, but I styled it with some studded sandals and my big hat to make it a spring look!

Odysseys Await: Spring Days in My Sperrys

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Sperry through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Sperry, all opinions are my own.

Wearing: Seacoast canvas sneaker c/o Sperry, ASOS "Maddox" jeans (on sale!), Thrifted striped tee , Michael Kors handbag via Mara Vintage Shop

As a native Floridian, I've always had a special love for Sperry shoes and their nautical appeal. My first pair of Sperrys was a tan classic boat shoe, which Sperry came out with in 1935, but over time I've fallen in love with all of the different twists and styles they've come up with based on that traditional platform.

Not only do I think Sperrys shoes are absolutely gorgeous, but they also bring me to a certain place and state of mind when I put them on. They make me think about trips to the beach, walking on the boardwalk, adventuring through parks, or any other summer day spent soaking up the sun!

This white pair of Seacoast Canvas sneakers was just the white sneaker I've been hunting down for so long, and I plan to live out another Florida summer in this lovely pair of Sperrys. I spent this evening at one of my favorite parks here in Jacksonville, and I paired these sneakers with some comfy cropped mom jeans and a striped tee, which made for the perfect simple springtime outfit.

Print Party

Wearing: Pink skirt c/o Make Me Chic, Aeropostale crop top, Heels c/o Nina (old, similar), Target hat, Rue 21 necklace (old, similar), Earrings c/o Jewelry Habit.

I was without a doubt going for a fun, girly look when I put this outfit on today, and I'm sure you can tell! I'm mixing prints, wearing sparkly jewels, and of course I've got on my big pink midi skirt that I love so much from Make Me Chic! Last year I got my neon green one, and this year I just had to have another in pink! I love these big skirts because you can just have so much fun with them and they make any outfit look extravagant and fun! I just knew I had to really accessorize to compliment this gorgeous skirt, so I wore a big floppy hat and these darling gold earrings from Jewelry Habit along with other sparkly jewels!

Frock in Bloom

Wearing: Forever 21 blouse (sold out, similar), floral dress c/o PB&J Boutique (it also comes in a skirt!), Stockings c/o Vienne Milano, Thrifted t-strap shoes (this pair is to DIE for), Forever 21 hat (old, similar), Vintage Louis Vuitton bag via Mara Vintage Shop.

Okay, so when I saw this dress from PB&J Boutique, it was love at first sight. The color, shape, and embroidered-style floral print made for such a good feminine 70's-inspired frock! I love dresses with a sleeveless cut and classic rounded neckline because I'm obsessed with layered blouses underneath, and it appears that this dress was just destined to be worn with my lovely little floral blouse from Forever 21! I had a lot of fun accessorizing this outfit as well. Since I had 70s on the mind, I got my big burgundy hat, gold door knocker earrings, and of course my vintage 70s Louis Vuitton bag. Come summertime I'll be ditching the tights and t-straps and pairing a kimono along with some platform sandals to wear with gorgeous dress!

PS - I played around with my makeup a bit today and went for a classic cat eye paired with some nude colored eye shadows. What do you all think? I personally love it, and it's all thanks to Essence Cosmetics with their amazing products, of course!

Edgy Prepster

Wearing: Aeropostale shirt, Nasty Gal sweater, H&M faux leather pants, Forever 21 sandals, Vintage Gucci handbag, Forever 21 necklace.

I've been obsessing over sweaters with this style for quite some time. It wasn't warm enough today to wear it alone, so I put a plaid shirt underneath with a chunky gunmetal statement necklace to liven it up a bit. But even though it was cold I still had to wear my studded sandals, I just thought they looked too fab with the outfit not to wear them! Sometimes you just gotta choose style over comfort, ya know?

Draw the Line

Wearing: Forever 21 tank top (old), Forever 21 faux leather jacket, A-line skirt c/o Blue Vanilla, Over-the-knee boots c/o Not Rated, bag c/o T-Shirt and Jeans, Forever 21 hat (old), Vintage earrings.

Once the first day of Spring is here I'm going to finally put all of my leather pieces to the back of my closet, so I'm spending these last few moments of Winter in some of my favorite edgy pairings! I want to enjoy it while I can, because once the temps start rising, just hearing the word leather will make me cringe! I got a lot of black faux leather going on in today's outfit, with my always cool jacket from Forever 21 and the cutest over-the-knee boots from Not Rated! I am so in love with the details in these boots, they are feminine but still have a tough biker look to them! With my faux leathers I threw on this adorable A-line skirt from Blue Vanilla along with a cropped Aerosmith tank, because I'm always looking for an excuse to wear a band shirt!

Texture Mix-Ups

Wearing: Dress c/o Others Follow, Thrifted houndstooth top, Longline blazer c/o Lookbook Store, Vintage Louis Vuitton bag, Zara boots, Forever 21 hat.

Lately I've been enjoying what little bit of last minute layering I can do before Spring is here in Florida! Yes, Spring layering is totally a thing that I wish I could do, but unfortunately Florida goes from cold to extremely hot weather! I tried something a bit different with this outfit today and layered a mock neck houndstooth top underneath a spring lace dress and added some touches of black in the mix! It was a unique combo for sure, but I was pretty happy with the outcome!
